In the beginning...
Orlando was born on January 13, 1977 in Canterbury, Kent, England. He was born to Sonia and Harry Bloom and has one sister, Samantha. Other sources name Orlando's mother as Shelia. It is rumored that Colin Stone was revealed to be Orli's biological father instead of Harry. Colin is Orli's guardian. He showed his talents at an early age when his mother entered him into Bible-reading and poetry-reciting contests.
His academic career.
Orlando left high school in 1993 at age 16. As a young child, Orlando was diagnosed with dyslexia. After that he moved to London to act with the National Youth Theatre. After 2 years he was awarded a scholarship to the British American Drama Academy where he was noticed by an agent after appearing in a school play. This landed him a role in Wilde. After starring in Wilde, he went on to enroll in London's prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he appeared in several plays. He graduated in the fall of 1999 and has since had an astonishing movie career.
His early film career.
While in school, Orlando acted in many school plays. After he was noticed by an agent, he landed his first film role in Wilde. After seeing this, many advertising firms and film casters flooded him with an enormous amount of offers. He turned them down to continue schooling. Since he has appeared in the Lord of the Rings, Black Hawk Down, Pirates of the Carribean, Ned Kelly, and a few more low-budget films.
